Anti Slip Floor Treatment

We provide treatments and coatings for slips and falls on wet and dry surfaces such as ceramic tiles, marble, terrazzo, wood, vinyl or concrete floor areas. Slip resistance can be effective for up to three years depending on foot traffic and maintenance of an area, that exceeds HSE minimum friction co-efficient requirements.

Our treatments also work on baths and shower trays improving safety in hotels, the leisure industry and residential homes.

Slip Testing

Once an area has been identified we can take a reading with our slip meter in dry and wet conditions that will indicate how slippery a floor area is. Once treatments or coatings are carried out, another reading can be taken to assure you that HSE requirements are exceeded.

Regular testing can be done for insurance purposes and to check that health and safety guidelines are met.

Anti-slip treatments and coatings

There are two types of non-slip product we provide.

Safe-grip Antil-slip Treatment is a clear easy to apply solution which increases the co-efficient of friction on a floor exceeding health and safety guidelines when wet. It is ideal for entrance areas that bring moisture in from foot traffic, baths,showers and wet areas at leisure centres,hotels or swimming pools. The product bonds into the surface creating micro pores that react when the surface is contacted with moisture, reducing the problem of dangerous slippery floor areas.

Grip-cote is a clear coating applied to any hard floor surface such as painted workshop floors, wood and vinyl areas. It ensures optimal low friction on dry and wet surfaces increasing the co-efficient of friction thus reducing slips and falls.

These products have revolutionized standards for health and safety and once applied have a long lasting finish, for a safer environment.
